Description
The 2015 vintage in Burgundy was rated a perfect 5 out of 5 by Decanter (Jan. 27, 2017), where it was described as 'an extraordinary one throughout the Côte d'Or. The red wines are truly great: rich, powerful and statuesque but almost always underpinned by juicy acidity. The distinctive characters of the region's diverse terroirs, which can be occluded by over-ripeness in warm years, are articulately expressed.' This Volnay premier cru comes from a vineyard with an average vine age of 30 years and was aged 18 months in oak barrels.
