Catena Appellation San Carlos Cabernet Franc 2014
[From Tim Atkin's Argentina Special Report] The vines in this Los Indios planting at the southern end of the Uco Valley were planted as recently as 2003, but are already making a very impressive, varietally pure Cabernet Franc. Deeply coloured, aromatic and refreshing, with notes of spice, blackcurrant and graphite underpinned by acidity. 2016-21. Score - 93. (Tim Atkin, MW,, 2016)
