Bon Courage Jacques Bruére Cuvée Rosé Brut 2011
Situated between the Breede River and Langeberg mountains in Robertson is Bon Courage Wine Estate, run by the Bruwer family for three generations. This fizz is made from 100% Pinot Noir and is named in honour of the Bruwers' French Huguenot ancestors, the Bruéres, who hailed from the Loire Valley. It's toasty and complex with suggestions of pink grapefruit and strawberry, and it still has plenty of vibrancy. Sip with fish cakes and beetroot salad. (Vintages panel, June 2018)
