This broad and generous oak-aged Grappa is one of the world's great dark spirits and would be appreciated by those who enjoy Scotch Whiskey and old rum. 'Paolo Berta' is crafted using discontinuous distillation with small copper steam boilers using the pomace a variety of grapes. This Grappa was crafted in 1997 and has been aged in a mix of 100L French oak barrels. This is a complex Grappa with great personality. You'll find aromas and flavours of caramel, tobacco, ripe cherry, chocolate, vanilla, cedar and spice. Silky smooth on the palate, this Grappa ends with long cedar and vanilla infused finish. Serve with dark chocolate.
