Description
This wine received a rating of 3 Glasses (out of 3) in Gambero Rosso 2013.

Tasting Note
The 2009 marks the 50th vintage of this wine. The nose is generous, complex and quite pretty with layered suggestions of bumbleberry pie, fig, hickory and sweet spices. The palate is sunny and mouthfilling and simply bursting with berry fruits and sweet spice notes. Good structure and balance throughout. Ideal for barbecued meats and mushrooms, or hard cheeses.
