Gold Medal winner at the 2011 Wine Access Canadian Wine Awards.

Tasting Note
This has a great nose - a real firecracker with lifted cran-cherry fruit, cinnamon and well integrated toasty/smoky oak and vanillin notes. Almost some floral character as well that took me somewhere into Burgundy. It's mid-weight, fleshy yet well balanced, with some sour-edged vibrancy, firm tannin and some heat. Wow, this really has traction. Age it another couple of years, but don't miss it. Tasted February 2012. Score - 92. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Feb. 22, 2012)
