Tasting Note
This expressive white blend needs time to come into its own, just like the previous 2006 Laura White did. The mix of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Viognier and Riesling included lots that were fermented and aged in older oak barrels. The resulting wine calls to mind the same adjectives used to describe Youth Novels: edgy, experimental and winsome. (Christopher Waters, Vines, Jan./Feb. 2009)
