Mexican Mule


1 jalapeño pepper
1 oz tequila
1 oz lime juice
4 oz chilled ginger beer
1 seeded jalapeño pepper slice for garnish


  1. Thinly slice two pieces of jalapeño pepper, remove seeds and place in bottom of a highball glass. Add tequila and lime juice, then gently muddle. Fill glass with ice, then stir. Top with chilled ginger beer. Garnish with jalapeño slice.
Makes 1 cocktail
