Proudly serving every corner of the province, the LCBO has evolved constantly to provide the best retail experience and service to Ontarians everywhere. Now we’ve found a new way to spread good cheer.

Through our alliance with eSSENTIAL Accessibility™, the LCBO is taking part in aDisability Community Involvement Initiative launched in association with leading advocacy groups for the disabled. If you have trouble typing, moving a mouse or reading, eSSENTIAL Accessibility can greatly enhance your experience at lcbo.com.

Keyboard and mouse replacement solutions include a webcam-based hands-free movement tracking system, a page reader, predictive typing and other customizable options.

eSSENTIAL Accessibility tools can be used on a standard PC* by anyone with dexterity challenges or reading difficulties arising from a variety of conditions, including:

  • Stroke/paralysis
  • Arthritis
  • Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Cerebral Palsy (CP)

eSSENTIAL Accessibility is enhanced communication support for people who have trouble reading, typing or moving a mouse. It helps us meet customer service, employment, and information and communication standards mandated by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
